OUR MISSION
Concerned Alumni of Patrick Henry exists to provide both constructive criticism and encouragement to Patrick Henry College as the school attempts to maintain its commitment both to Christian orthodoxy and academic excellence. It also exists to serve as a platform for informing fellow alumni of current events at the college.

OUR PURPOSE
To challenge the college administration to demonstrate a commitment to academic freedom traditionally understood, providing a space for robust theological and philosophic debate within the confines of historic Christianity.

Welcome to the homepage of the Concerned Alumni of Patrick Henry. CAPH is a group of alumni dedicated to the success of Patrick Henry College. As alumni, we feel it is appropriate for us to provide both constructive criticism as well as encouragement to our alma mater. As the College continues to grow and mature, it is important that it remain committed to both Christian orthodoxy and academic excellence. When we attended Patrick Henry College, it offered one of the best classical Christian undergraduate educations in the nation. CAPH is dedicated to the continuance of this program of education.

In recent years, however, several events have transpired that call into question the College’s fidelity to its founding vision and mission. Changes to the academic programs, massive faculty departures, and continued lack of regional accreditation are of special concern. While we recognize that the College, in response to these issues, has made many positive changes to its organization, governance structures, and policies and procedures, concerns still remain.

On our website you will find content relating to many topics, including accreditation, the College’s founding mission, the Alumni Association, faculty departures, and academic freedom.
